Ranked as one of Disney’s best, the film won two Academy Awards and features Elton John’s composition and Tim Rice’s lyrics for “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” “The Circle of Life,” and “Hakuna Matata.” The main characters are voiced by Matthew Broderick, James Earl Jones, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and Whoopi Goldberg.
