Please join us for the screening of filmmaker Miguel Amodio’s “Through the Curtain of the
Soper Reese.” His film will feature highlights of our community theatre since its opening in 1997
when it was acquired by the Lake County Arts Council. The film is a tribute to the volunteers,
patrons and performers that have helped the theatre to become a venue for concerts, plays,
symphonies, dances, town halls, award ceremonies and fundraising events. Recently several
presentations and town halls have taken place on a variety of local issues including
homelessness, and Pomo Indian culture.
This will be a fundraising event to support the renovation of the theatre.
