The Lake County Symphony Summer Chamber Concert is proud to present two talented local trumpet players who will be featured in the only Concerto for Two Trumpets that Antonio Vivaldi composed. These well-known Lake County musicians are Gary Miller and John Smiraglia. There are many other mostly Baroque selections on the program featuring our outstanding oboe players Beth Aiken and Jeff Champion, horn player Kelsey Wiley, and Camm Linden on the harpsichord. The concert opens with the familiar theme for “Masterpiece Theatre,” The Rondeau by Mouret, and ends with Handel’s famous Water Music. Additional selections include works by William Boyce, Luigi Boccherini and Handel.
