“TrioAmericana invites you to the Soper Reese Theatre on December 14 at 2 PM for a time of reflection and action inspired by John Coltrane’s iconic 1965 album1965 album, A Love
Supreme. Grandson of an A.M.E. Zion Church minister, John Coltrane took
listeners on journeys through sound that engaged the intellect and the soul.
Seeking to embody the same sense of urgency, TrioAmericana creates profound
and captivating narratives encased in enrapturing rhythms.

musicians with the technical ability and sense of adventure to uncover the
extraordinary,” states Rothstein. “Lincoln Andrews and Gabriel Yañez are
professionals of the highest order, and the ideal partners to create uniquely
American amalgams that highlight the blend of cultural contributions that have
driven the jazz genre forward for more than a century.
